For Early Years Settings & Preschools
Storytelling & Language-Rich Practice Training
Practical, engaging CPD for your whole team. Learn how to use storytelling, books, and language-rich routines to build deeper connections with children, support communication development, and create a setting where stories are at the heart of everything you do.
SEND Support & Inclusive Practice
Drawing on extensive experience as a SENCO in early years settings, this session helps practitioners feel confident identifying, supporting, and recording the needs of children with SEND — including how to communicate effectively with parents and work collaboratively with outside agencies.
Language Development & Communication Workshops
Focused workshops on supporting speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN) within your setting. Practical strategies your team can implement immediately, tailored to your children and context.
Multilingual & Multicultural Storytelling
Specialist support for settings with children from non-English speaking homes. Discover how to use stories in multiple languages to celebrate children's home cultures, support language acquisition, and help families feel genuinely welcome.
Leadership & Quality Improvement Consultancy
Support for settings working towards or maintaining an Outstanding Ofsted judgement. Marlis brings direct experience as the manager of an Ofsted Outstanding preschool and can work alongside your leadership team on self-evaluation, improvement planning, and embedding quality practice.

Area-Wide Training & CPD
Engaging, evidence-informed training days and twilight sessions for groups of settings across your area. Topics include language development, storytelling in practice, SEND in the early years, and inclusive communication.
Strategic Consultancy
Working with early years area teams and advisory services to develop and embed language and literacy strategy across your settings. Ideal for local authorities with a focus on school readiness, communication, and early intervention.

Delivery
